Snowdonia National Park is located in the North-West of Wales. The area is dominated by the impressive Snowdonia mountain range, whilst the park iteself holds picturesque villages, fast-flowing waterfalls and a coastline of fine, sandy beaches. The area holds a variety of excellent and varied dog walking opportunities, for you and your canine companion to enjoy.
Here, we take a look at four of our favourite dog walks in Snowdonia National Park, which you can enjoy yourselves.
Swallow Falls

This is a fantastic walk through woodlands and forest, before you descend to some stunning views of the waterfall, Swallow Falls. A great walk with lots of places for your dog to enjoy some time in the water.
Devil's Kitchen

This walk is in amongst the mountains, with gradual effort needed of actually climbing any! The walk is predominantly around Llyn Idwal, a lake which offers some fantastic photo opportunies as you walk around it. You will be walk toward a dark, black crack which splits the rock of Clogwyn y Geifr between Y Garn and Glyder Fawr - Devil's Kitchen is the name given to this.

Conwy Mountain is a stunning, circular walk with both coastal and mountain views, with a gentle climb up to the highest point - where you can see Conwy Castle.
Aber Falls

This is a linear walk where you will see two rivers meeting as one, with a stunning waterfall. The walk contains great scenery and woodlands for you and your dog to enjoy.
What is great about Snowdonia National Park, is the feeling of being far away from it all. It really is a great place to get outdoors and explore some wonderful scenery, to make some truly memorable walks with your dog.
