How to get there: Use Junction 5 of the M11, passing through Loughton. Take the A121 south. Turn right onto Manor Road, right onto Epping New Road. Then left onto Ranger's Road. The car park will be on your right.

The Willow Trail
From Connaught Water car park, simply follow the waymarked Willow Trail route, which has arrows directing you around the walk. The walk is mostly easy walking over a range of surfaced tracks and grassland. There is one short steep slope up to the lake.
