Walk
From the main courtyard, head past the sculpture of the ship burial and take the path heading down the valley. At the bottom and at a T-junction, turn left. After the farm, take the footpath to the right. Follow the path upward, before taking a left to follow the path along the river wall to Ferry Cliff Woods.
At the end, climb up some stepsto the top of the cliff. Take a left and follow the path to the right and around the edge of the woods, keeping to the treeline. After crossing a field, and before reaching the trees, take the path along the field, with the wood kept to your left.
At the end of the wood, take the path crossing the field to a gap in the hedge, then left onto a path which takes you to a road. Remain on the road, until you join up with the main road, where you should turn left.
When you reach the end of the woods, turn left and take the path to the top of the field. Pass by the National Trust Sutton Hoo sign, taking a sharp right through the gate. Follow the path back to the walk start point.
