Terrain: This is a diverse and engaging circular walk. The terrain is mostly level grassy footpaths, particularly across Cock Marsh, but also includes a mix of paved village roads and a short, steep climb up Winter Hill (which can be avoided). Paths through meadows and along the riverside can be very muddy and prone to flooding, especially in winter. There are no stiles on the main route. Walking boots are strongly recommended due to potential mud.
Accessibility: The trail features a kissing gate that is difficult to navigate in a wheelchair. While mostly level, the short, steep climb up Winter Hill (which can be bypassed) and potential for significant mud/flooding make this walk not suitable for those with significant mobility issues or standard pushchairs for the full loop.- Facilities:
