Terrain: Around the Mill buildings, paths are generally well-surfaced (cobbles, paving, compacted gravel) but can be on different levels with some slopes and steps reflecting the historic site. Paths leading along the River Bollin from the Mill or into the adjacent Styal Woods are earthier, can be uneven, rooty, and muddy, with some steep sections and steps as they follow the contours of the Bollin Valley.
