- Dog Notes:
Kingmoor Nature Reserves in Cumbria are an excellent and very popular place for dog walking, with plenty of space and interesting scents for dogs to explore. Dogs can often be off-lead in many areas, but ensure they have good recall and are kept under control, as wildlife (including potentially deer or red squirrels) is present and other walkers, cyclists, or horse riders may use some paths. Please clean up after your dog to keep the reserves pleasant for everyone. Remember to bring water for your dog, especially on longer walks through this Cumbrian woodland.
