A circular dog friendly walk around Fosse Meadows Country Park. This area holds young, predominately broadleaf, woodland with something for everyone. Plenty of wide paths, bird hides, open grassy places, benches, and ponds.

Useful Information
How to get there: From the A5, take the B4114 toward Sharnford. Once through Sharnford, still on the B4114, take a right onto Frolesworth Road (a brown road sign will direct you to Fosse Meadows). Then take a right onto Roman Road and you have a choice of two car parks on your right, the second is larger than the first.

The Walk
A circular walk through young woodland.

Walk
1 Leave the car park through the gate to the left of the car park entrance. Follow the path along the middle of the grass area, then as it bends round to the right. Remain on this path with the boundary to the area on your left.
2 Turn right here and continue on the path which loops round the area and tree plantations. Continue on to the north-est corner and follow the path round to point 3 on the map.
3 Turn right again and follow the straight path as it heads forward to point 4.
4 Turn left where the path opens out (there is a seating area to your right if you want to relax a little) and head down the grass path which leads back toward the car park.
