A circular dog friendly walk through Warton Crag, Carnforth, Lancashire. Starting at the Crag, the walk heads up and around to the top of the crag, passing the rocking stones and Warton Crag summit and into the surrounding woods.

 

How to get there

From East Lancashire follow the M6 to junction 35 then follow the A6 to the traffic lights in the centre of Carnforth. Turn right and follow the road to reach Warton on the right. Look for the George Washington pub to see a car park on the left.

 

Walk

1 From the car park, head toward the road and to the left. Follow the path alongside the road. Take a left to head north.

2 Turn left here and follow the path round to head back down to the walk start point.
