- Dog Notes:
Petersfield Lake and Heath in Hampshire is extremely popular for dog walking, and dogs are very welcome. There are extensive areas for off-lead exercise across the heathland and in some woodland areas, but dogs should be kept under control, especially near the lake with waterfowl, play areas, the cafe, and when other park users are present. Some areas may request dogs on leads, particularly around the busiest parts or sensitive habitats. Dog waste bins are widely available. Please clean up after your dog. The lake offers paddling/swimming for dogs, but be mindful of water quality and other users. This Hampshire location is a dog walker's paradise.
