Walk
Starting from Pitmore Road, head down the hill and turn left into Highbridge Road. Go under the railway bridge, past the lock and turn immediately left down the footpath. Take the path along the River Itchen up to Kiln Lane.
Cross over Kiln Lane and immediately turn right down the footpath on the other side of the road and river. Follow the Itchen Navigation Path. A little way on, follow the path round to the left and when you reach the pumping station, take the path to the left.
Head past the pumping station. Cross the lane and follow the path as it takes you through woods and a field. When you reach a gate, turn right and go under the railway.
When you get back onto Kiln Lane, turn right onto it. Head into a field on your left, a little way down the road, and head diagonally across the field into Otterbourne Park Wood.
Follow the Otter Trail signs through the wood, and head back along the path to the walk start point.
