Dogs are very welcome throughout much of the site. However, due to its status as a working reservoir and its importance for water quality and wildlife, specific and strict rules apply.
Llys-y-frân Reservoir and Country Park in Pembrokeshire is very dog-friendly, and dogs are welcome on leads throughout most of the park, including on the main perimeter trail and in outdoor seating areas of the cafe. Keeping dogs on leads is important due to cyclists on shared paths, proximity to the reservoir (for water safety and to protect waterfowl), and potential grazing livestock in some areas.
