A coastal, circular walk along the cliff edge. You will be able to see the famous Beachy Head lighthouse and views across Eastbourne and the sea.
How to get there
From the West: Head along the M4, then cut down to the A27 and carry on. From the North: Once passed London, take the M23/A23, then turn left when you see signs for Eastbourne. You should see signs for Beachy Head after a while.
Walk
1 Cross over the road from the car park and follow the path down to the right to reach the RAF Bomber Command Memorial. Walk back up from here and to the left following the path heading in a north-east direction eventually descending down into Eastbourne.
2 Turning right, follow the lane as it heads upward. Follow the path past the sports fields and as it heads alongside the coast line and cliff edge.
3 From this point, turn right to head back towards the car park and walk start point.
