Parking: There is a large, paid car park in Seahouses, located at the harbour and seafront. Parking is also available at the end of the walk in Bamburgh, in a large, paid car park below the castle. Fees apply at both locations. As this is a linear walk, you will need to either walk back or arrange for transport (e.g., bus or taxi) to return to your starting car.

Terrain: A truly stunning and invigorating coastal walk. The path is a mix of a well-defined coastal path, often with gravel or compacted earth, and vast stretches of firm golden sand. The terrain is largely flat, but you will walk across gentle sand dunes and follow the natural contours of the coastline. Expect the sand to be soft in places, which can be more strenuous, and paths to be exposed to coastal elements. Sturdy, comfortable walking shoes are recommended.

Accessibility: The coastal path itself is generally accessible. However, walking on the soft sand and navigating the dunes can be challenging for those with mobility issues or pushchairs.
