- Dog Notes:
Dogs on short leads are very welcome in most of the parkland and woodland areas of the Calke Abbey estate in Derbyshire, but not in the formal gardens, house, restaurant, or shop (assistance dogs excepted). There are many miles of paths perfect for on-lead dog walking. Dogs should be kept on leads due to the presence of deer and livestock grazing in the parkland. Dog waste bins are provided in some areas. The estate offers excellent walks for dogs in the permitted areas of this Derbyshire property, with water bowls often available near the cafe.
