Terrain: A truly picturesque and invigorating walk through a dramatic river gorge and ancient woodlands. Paths are primarily natural earth and leaf litter, often uneven, rocky, and rooty in places, particularly within the gorge and alongside the river. Expect paths to be very muddy and prone to puddles, especially after rain or in wetter seasons.
