The terrain in Aspley Woods, Bedfordshire/Buckinghamshire, is varied. Expect sandy paths (which can be loose and tiring underfoot, especially in dry weather), well-maintained forest roads, gravel tracks, and narrower, uneven earth paths which can be very muddy and rooty, particularly after rain. The woods have some gentle to moderate undulations and hills. Good walking boots are recommended. Be very aware of mountain bikers on designated trails; stick to walking paths where possible or be prepared to give way on shared routes in this Bedfordshire woodland.
