- Dog Notes:
The Gog Magog Hills (both Wandlebury Country Park and Magog Down) in Cambridgeshire are very popular for dog walking, and dogs are generally welcome. In Wandlebury Country Park, dogs should be on leads in some signed areas (e.g., near the cafe, around the Iron Age fort if livestock are grazing inside it, or in specific conservation zones) but can often be off-lead in wider parkland and woodland areas if under good control. Magog Down often allows off-lead walking but be extremely mindful of grazing livestock (sheep and cattle are frequently used for conservation grazing – dogs MUST be on leads near them). Dog waste bins are usually provided at car parks and key points. Please clean up after your dog when visiting this Cambridgeshire site.
