The Great Flat Lode: The southern half of this walk is fantastic for dogs. It consists of wide, flat gravel tracks (old tramways) that are easy on paws and offer plenty of space.
-
Carn Brea: The climb up the hill is steep and very rocky. Dogs will need to be agile, and the granite boulders can be sharp.
-
Hazards: This is the heart of the historic mining district. While most old shafts are securely capped or fenced, it is absolutely essential to keep your dog strictly on the marked paths and under close control. Do not let them roam freely into the undergrowth or ruins.
