The Cliffs: The sheer drops along the North Cliffs and Hell's Mouth are completely unfenced and notorious for crumbling edges. It is absolutely critical to keep your dog strictly on a lead for the entire coastal section.
-
Nature Reserve: Once you are down in the Red River Valley Nature Reserve, the environment becomes much safer and more relaxed, making it a brilliant spot for dogs to explore the woods.
-
Livestock & Roads: You will cross active farmland near Carlean Farm and Downs Farm, so be prepared to pop the lead back on. You will also need to carefully cross the B3301 road at the start and middle of the walk.
