Sturdy, comfortable walking shoes or boots are recommended, and waterproof footwear is advisable in wetter conditions.

Accessibility: The majority of the riverside path is relatively flat and wide, making it fairly accessible. However, sections on country lanes involve shared use with vehicles, and some field paths may be uneven or muddy, making them less suitable for those with significant mobility issues or standard pushchairs.
