Silchester Roman City in Hampshire is an excellent place for dog walking. Dogs on leads are very welcome throughout the site, including on the walk around the walls and at the amphitheatre. This is an English Heritage site, so keeping dogs on leads helps protect the ancient earthworks from erosion and respects other visitors. Please clean up after your dog thoroughly to help preserve this important Hampshire heritage site. The open fields provide good space for an on-lead walk.
