Jeskyns Community Woodland

Explore Jeskyns Country Park near Gravesend in Kent, a large and relatively new public parkland created by Forestry England, offering extensive and accessible walking and cycling opportunities for all the family. Jeskyns provides a wonderful and still-developing mix of newly planted woodland, wildflower meadows, orchards, and open grassland, with a comprehensive network of well-maintained paths. An excellent network of paths and trails crisscrosses Jeskyns Country Park, suitable for various abilities and activities. Key features include several marked walking trails of different lengths (some specifically designated as accessible), dedicated cycle routes, a large and imaginative children's adventure play area (including sections for different age groups), a very popular dog activity trail and several enclosed dog exercise areas, numerous sculptures dotted around the park, and a cafe with toilet facilities. The park is excellent for enjoying open space, watching wildlife establish in the new habitats, and for family outings in Kent. It also has specific areas for horse riding.
