Parking:

Parking: There is a small, free car park at Brock Bottom. This car park can fill up very quickly, especially on weekends and sunny days, so arriving earlier is highly recommended.

Distance:
2.50 miles
Time:
1.10 hours
Difficulty:
Moderate
Terrain:

Terrain: A truly picturesque and invigorating walk through a beautiful river valley. Paths are primarily natural earth and leaf litter, often uneven and rocky in places, particularly alongside the river and on valley slopes. The terrain is undulating, with moderate climbs and descents (total ascent 108m / 354ft). Expect paths to be very muddy, wet, and prone to puddles, especially after rain or in wetter seasons. Sturdy, comfortable, and waterproof hiking boots with excellent grip are absolutely essential for both you and your dog.

Accessibility: Due to the uneven, often rocky and muddy terrain, slopes, and the potential for crossing stepping stones, this walk is generally not suitable for those with significant mobility issues or standard pushchairs. It requires good agility and sure-footedness.
