Scadbury Park is a large Local Nature Reserve in the Chislehurst area of south-east London, offering a more natural countryside feel within Greater London. The reserve includes ancient woodland, open grassland and scrub, with a network of public paths and views across the River Cray valley. One of the most distinctive features here is the historic moated manor house site, which adds interest to the walk.
This is a good option if you enjoy a quieter nature-focused stroll with plenty to explore, but dogs are currently noted as needing to stay on lead throughout the park. No livestock is currently noted for this route. Stiles are present, so it may not suit every dog or walker, and the paths can be uneven with some muddier sections after wet weather.
There is currently no parking information noted here, and no toilets, cafe, poo bins or dog water source are currently noted for the route. A pub is noted nearby if you want to combine the walk with a stop before or after your outing.
