- Dog Notes:
Dogs on leads are very welcome in most of the parkland and woodland areas of the Erddig estate in Clwyd, but they are not permitted in the formal gardens (including the main West Garden and Walled Garden), inside Erddig Hall, the tea-room, or the shop (assistance dogs are an exception). There are many miles of designated dog walking routes throughout the wider estate, clearly marked. Dogs should be kept on leads in areas with livestock (sheep and cattle often graze the parkland) and under close control at all times to protect wildlife. Dog waste bins are provided at various points. The Erddig estate in Clwyd offers excellent on-lead walks for dogs in the permitted areas.
