Upgrade to PLUSA circular walk which can offer some stunning views. The walk will lead you onto Porth y Nant beach, a lovely small rocky cove for your dog to enjoy.
How to get there
From Llithfaen follow the brown road signs to Nant Gwrtheyrn.
Walk
1 Leave the car park and head left to follow the road. Continue along the quiet road. You will see the sea come into view ahead of you, and the road will quite steeply descend. The road will bend around to the right and continue to descend. It will then bend to the left a little further down to continue the descent. Pass by the buildings and continue on the path.
2 Pass on by the picnic benches and head through the gate and take the steps down. This path will take you right down to the beach, which you and your dog should spend a little time exploring and enjoying before continuing on the walk. Once you have finished on the beach, take the grass path heading upwards.
3 Pass through the trees and then by Ciliau Isaf cottage. Follow the track from the cottage down heading left. Before you reach the road (B4417), turn left and head back up the grass path. Cross the farmland on the path, heading north-east in direction where you will make your way back to the road where the car park and start point of the walk is located.
