However, they are not usually permitted in the formal gardens (e.g., Japanese Garden, Rose Garden), inside Newstead Abbey itself, or in the cafes/shops (assistance dogs excepted). There are many miles of excellent on-lead walks through the wider park. Dog waste bins are provided in some areas. Please clean up after your dog.
