From Ludlow Castle website (accessed 09.06.2025) "We welcome dogs in the Castle and on the Cafe’s Terrace as long as they are kept on a lead. You will find bowls of water outside the shop to ensure your four-legged friends are well cared for during your visit. Please be considerate and clean up after your dog, bins are provided around the castle."
Dogs on leads are also welcome in the outer grounds of Ludlow Castle and on the public footpaths around the town and along the River Teme in Shropshire. Ludlow is a very dog-friendly town, and many pubs and some cafes will welcome well-behaved dogs. The riverside paths offer good exercise.
