Terrain: A wonderfully varied and generally undulating landscape. Yeovil Country Park features a mix of wide, well-maintained tarmac and compacted gravel paths, as well as narrower, more natural earth paths through woodlands and alongside water features. The 'Ninesprings' area itself boasts beautiful cascades and streams. Expect paths to be muddy and prone to puddles, particularly after rain or in wetter seasons, especially in wooded areas and closer to the water. Sturdy, comfortable walking shoes are recommended, and waterproof footwear is advisable.
Accessibility: While many of the main paths around Ninesprings are wide, relatively flat, and well-surfaced (tarmac/gravel), making them suitable for pushchairs and some wheelchairs, other paths within the wider Country Park (especially in the woodlands or on steeper slopes) can be uneven and muddy, making full accessibility challenging.- Facilities:

Dog-Friendliness: Yeovil Country Park is an absolutely fantastic and incredibly popular destination for dog walkers, offering a superb blend of water features, woodlands, and open spaces! Dogs are welcome throughout much of the park, with ample opportunity for both on-lead strolling and responsible off-lead play. However, it is crucial to be highly mindful of the park's popularity, other visitors (including many families and children), specific dog control zones, and sensitive wildlife around the water. Always ensure your dog is under control.
Yeovil Country Park in Somerset is very popular for dog walking. Dogs are welcome in most areas of the park. There are good opportunities for off-lead exercise in the woodlands and wider parkland, but dogs should be kept under control, especially near lakes with waterfowl, play areas, the cafe, and when other park users are present. Dog waste bins are widely available. Please clean up after your dog. This Somerset park is a great dog-walking destination.- EV Charger Nearby:
