Basic Walk Listing: This walk has not yet been fully reviewed by Dog Walks Near Me, so some details may still need checking. Please use local signage and your own judgement while we continue improving this listing.

This is a riverside walk near Amberley in the Arun Valley, with open views across the floodplain towards the South Downs. The route follows a public footpath beside the River Arun and works well as an out-and-back stroll, so you can turn around whenever suits you.

Ground conditions can be muddy and boggy, especially after wet weather, and livestock may be present along the route. Please follow local signs and keep dogs close where needed.

Please take extra care near the river itself. The water is currently noted as unsuitable for dogs here because of the strong current and very marshy edges with reeds. Toilets are available nearby, and Amberley Museum is close to the station area if you are planning a longer visit.
