Circular walk
Excellent wooded walk in the Forest of Bere. We have given one possible walk, although the area has many gravelled paths so it is easy to extend or shorten to suit all abilities. Downloadable map available here.
Useful Information
How to get there: From Petersfield, follow the A272 towards Winchester. Join the A32 and head south following Newtown. Once in Newtown, turn right onto Hundred Acres Road, the car park will be on your right.

The Walk
An excellent woodland walk offering plenty of shade.

Walk
1 Leave the car park towards the north-west. After 500 meters, take the path to the left.
2 After about 300 meters, take the path to the right. It ends in a T junction, turn right again and follow this path as it tracks through the woods.
3 Keep following this path for about 1 km.
4 Turn right and follow this path to another T juction. Take another right here.
5 Finally turn left and follow the path as it tracks back towards the car park.
