- Dog Notes:
Chertsey Meads in Surrey is an extremely popular place for dog walking, offering vast open spaces for dogs to run and play. Dogs can often be off-lead in many areas of the meads, but ensure they are under control, especially near the rivers (be cautious of currents if dogs are keen swimmers) and when livestock might be grazing (check locally for any temporary grazing notices – cattle are sometimes used for conservation). Please clean up after your dog to keep the meads pleasant for everyone. The meadows can be very wet and muddy, so dogs (and owners!) will likely get dirty on this Surrey walk.
