The terrain on Chertsey Meads in Surrey is predominantly flat and grassy. Paths can be uneven and become very muddy and wet after rain or during periods of flooding, as it is a functional water meadow. Some paths may be surfaced near access points or along sections of the Thames Path. Suitable for most walkers, but it is advisable to wear wellington boots or waterproof walking boots in wetter conditions when exploring this Surrey nature reserve. Some areas can be boggy.
