A walk through woodlands in the North York Moors, along a wooden boardwalk. A great walk to view some wildlife and plants, which is easily accessible and ideal for walking your dog.
How to get there
From the A170 at East Ayton follow signs for Forge Valley.
Walk
The route starts from the Old Man's Mouth Picnic Site, and follows the River Derwent, through the woodland.
The walk follows a fairly level, wooden boardwalk through the entire route. The boardwalk has plenty of places to pass by other walkers, along with a number of seats.
