Terrain: A peaceful and very natural walk through a vital local nature reserve. Paths are primarily natural earth and mown grassy tracks, with sections winding through woodland fringes, grassland, and around ponds and reedbeds. The terrain is largely flat to gently undulating (total ascent 17m / 56ft), making it an easy stroll. However, expect paths to be very muddy, wet, and prone to puddles, particularly after rain or in wetter seasons, especially around the springs and water bodies. Sturdy, comfortable, and waterproof walking boots are essential for both you and your dog.
Accessibility: Due to the natural, often very muddy and wet surfaces, and narrower paths in places, Ivel Springs Local Nature Reserve is generally not suitable for those with significant mobility issues or standard pushchairs.- Get Directions:
