Terrain: A beautiful and invigorating coastal walk, combining cliff-top trails with beach exploration. Paths are a mix of firm gravel tracks on the cliff top, natural earth paths through wooded chines, and shingle/sand beach. The walk involves steep descents and ascents (total ascent 51m / 167ft) to and from the beach, often via steps or zig-zag paths. Expect paths to be muddy and slippery on the slopes or in wooded areas after rain. Sturdy, comfortable, and waterproof walking boots with good grip are essential for both you and your dog.
