- Dog Notes:
Langstone Harbour and the Hayling Billy Trail in Hampshire are very popular for dog walking. Dogs should be kept under control, especially on sea walls (which can be narrow) and near the harbour edge with its tidal waters. Be extremely mindful of the internationally important birdlife in Langstone Harbour – dogs should be on leads and kept away from sensitive feeding or roosting areas on mudflats and saltmarshes to avoid disturbance, particularly during winter and migration periods. Some beaches on nearby Hayling Island have seasonal dog restrictions. Please clean up after your dog meticulously. The pubs in Langstone village are often very dog-friendly, especially in their garden areas, making this Hampshire spot welcoming for dog owners.
