Terrain: Ancient semi-natural woodland with a good network of paths. Main paths are often well-established but can be earthy, uneven, with exposed tree roots, and become very muddy and slippery after rain, especially in winter. Some sections may have steps or gentle to moderate slopes as the woodland follows the contours of small valleys or cloughs. The area includes fishing lodges (ponds) with paths around them.
