Terrain: Predominantly flat, with well-maintained paths that include gravel tracks, grassy droves (paths), and extensive boardwalks. Some areas can become muddy or boggy after heavy rain, especially on the grassy droves. Sturdy, waterproof footwear is highly recommended.
Accessibility: The main boardwalk routes (e.g., the Wicken Fen Boardwalk Trail) offer excellent accessibility, suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. However, many of the grass droves and wider paths can be less even and prone to mud, making them less suitable for those with significant mobility issues.- Facilities:
