There are several free car parks providing access to Chobham Common National Nature Reserve in Surrey, managed by Surrey Wildlife Trust or local authorities. Main car parks include Staple Hill (located off the B383 Chobham to Sunningdale road), Jubilee Mount (off Chobham Road, GU24 8TJ, near the Red Lion pub), Longcross car park (off Longcross Road), and the Roundabout car park (off Fishpool Road, Chobham). These car parks can get very busy, especially at weekends and during good weather, for this popular Surrey nature reserve. Do not park on verges or obstruct access if car parks are full.

The terrain on Chobham Common in Surrey is varied and can be challenging in places. Expect sandy paths (which can be loose and tiring underfoot), heathland tracks that can be uneven, boggy, and very wet in places (especially in winter or after rain), and some gravelled bridleways. There are gentle undulations and some slightly hillier sections across the common. The area is quite exposed to the weather. Strong, waterproof footwear is highly advisable year-round for exploring this Surrey heathland.
