The terrain on Chobham Common in Surrey is varied and can be challenging in places. Expect sandy paths (which can be loose and tiring underfoot), heathland tracks that can be uneven, boggy, and very wet in places (especially in winter or after rain), and some gravelled bridleways. There are gentle undulations and some slightly hillier sections across the common. The area is quite exposed to the weather.
