Windsor Great Park in Berkshire is extremely popular for dog walking, and dogs are very welcome in most areas of the park. There are vast areas for off-lead exercise throughout the parkland and woodland. However, dogs MUST be on leads in specific signed areas, such as around Virginia Water lake, Savill Garden (dogs not usually allowed in the ticketed garden itself, only parkland), near cafes, children's play areas, and particularly in the Deer Park when deer are present (especially during rutting or calving seasons – heed all signage). Dog waste bins are widely available. Please clean up after your dog. This Berkshire park is a dog walker's paradise with responsible ownership.
