Be prepared for a workout! The coastal path here crosses several "hanging valleys" (like Downas Valley), which means steep, stepped descents down to the water level and immediate, lung-busting climbs back up the other side. The inland return is much flatter but crosses agricultural fields that get very boggy in winter, and includes several traditional stone stiles. Sturdy, waterproof hiking boots are highly recommended.
