The northern half of this walk uses the Camel Trail, which is a wide, flat, and generally well-compacted gravel/dirt surface. The southern return path through the woods and towards Nanstallon might be slightly more uneven and susceptible to mud after heavy rain, but it remains a very gentle route. Comfortable walking shoes or sturdy trainers will be absolutely fine for this one.
