Expect a true mixed bag of underfoot conditions. The trails through Golitha Falls are notoriously rocky, woven with thick tree roots, and can become incredibly muddy and slippery after rain. The ascent toward Siblyback crosses grassy farmland that is prone to boggy patches, alongside traditional Cornish stiles to climb over. Sturdy, waterproof hiking boots are an absolute must year-round, and wellies are highly recommended during the wetter winter months.
