The Walk

A circular walk up to Devil's Chimney.

Map with thanks to Ordnance Survey.

Walk

1 Head away from the car park, to the left, back toward Hartley Lane. Just before you reach the road, take the footpath to your left. Remain on this path along the tree line.

2 Follow the path round to the left here. The path curves a little to the left, then back to the right, then head straight on to the trees.

3 Take a right here to follow up to Devil's Chimney. When you reach the barrier on your left you will see Devil's Chimney on the other side of them. Remain on the path as it descends to point 4.

4 Stay on the path to the right. Turn right when you meet up with the path from earlier in the walk. Turn left at your next opportunity then follow the track down until it reaches a building. The track rounds to the left here, and leads back to the car park.
