Paths are predominantly natural earth and grass tracks, often on raised embankments that navigate a network of meadows, ditches, and ponds. The terrain is largely flat, making for an easy stroll. However, as it is a floodplain, the area is very susceptible to flooding, and paths can be extremely muddy, wet, and even impassable after heavy rain or during winter. Sturdy, comfortable, and waterproof walking boots are absolutely essential for both you and your dog.

Explore the Meadow Paths (Dogs on Lead - CRITICAL): Follow the paths that wind through the expansive flood meadows. You'll encounter a mix of open grasslands, ditches, and wetlands. The main paths often follow the top of the raised embankments. Dogs MUST be kept on a lead at all times to protect the abundant wildlife (especially birds) and the livestock (conservation grazing is often used).
