Terrain: Mostly flat and very well-maintained paths. Many are surfaced (tarmac or compacted gravel) and highly accessible for pushchairs, wheelchairs, and all abilities. Extensive, gently sloping lawns lead down to the shores of Windermere. Some woodland paths are earthier but still generally good.
