Cowdray Park offers a varied walk through the Cowdray Estate in the South Downs, with a mix of open parkland, riverside paths and woodland surroundings. The historic Cowdray ruins and views across the wider estate give this route plenty of interest, while the River Rother adds a pleasant waterside stretch.
This is a flexible place for anything from an easier stroll to a longer wander, depending on the paths you choose. Please follow local signs and keep dogs close where needed. No livestock is currently noted for this route. There is a café nearby if you want to make more of the outing.
