This Circular crosses the River Meon, before heading across farmland and returing via the Meon Valley Trail. You can extend the walk by heading further along the Meon Valley Trail. Downloadable map available here.

How to get there: From Petersfield, follow the A272 towards Winchester. Join the A32 and head south until you enter Droxford, the village hall car park is on your left.

The Walk
An circular walk offering interesting views.

Walk
1 Leave the car park heading east and enter the church grounds. Follow the path east over the river.
2 The path will take you over an old railway bridge over the Meon Valley Trail. Turn left when you get to the road, then take the footpath to your right. Keep following this as it begins to take you south.
3 At the fork, take the path that heads west back towards the road and village. When you get to the road turn right and take the path almost immdiately to you left. Follow this until you reach the Meon Valley Trail.
4 Head north on the Meon Valley Trail, until you reach the bridge you crossed earlier. Return to the orginal path and retrace your steps back towards the church and car park.
