Walk
Follow the path that heads south from the carpark, as it tracks along the ridge bringing you parallel to the road.
After about 800 metres the path splits, keep following the main route along the ridge
You'll eventually reach a crossroads at the beginning of the Iron Age fort. Head straight and follow the path as it heads around the perimeter of the fort.
When you reach the entrance of the fort section (again), this time take the other path, that leads you to the other side of the woodland and down the hillside. The path decends gently at first as it crosses the open field, before heading into woodland. Once you emerge from the trees, it will begin to decend fairly rapidly.
You are now at the lowest point of the walk. Keep following the path as it ascends the steep slope, back towards the carpark.
