Walk
From the walk start point, walk up towards The Green, passing by "The Cricketers" public house. Turn left to take the path signposted to Church End. Pass through a gate at the end, then keep to the left of the field to reach Sandfield Wood. Head through the gate and continue on until the end of the wood. Leave the wood and onto a narrow lane, turn right and follow the path back through the wood to a fork. Take the right-hand fork to emerge onto Dawes Lane.
Turn right onto Dawes Lane and continue up it, to reach the junction with The Green. A little to the right of "The Boot" public house, take the narrow footpath. Pass through a gate and head across the fields.
When you reach Deadman's Ash Lane, turn left. Head down Newhall Farm Drive.
Take a sharp right to head down a wide, hedge-lined track. After a short while, you will reach a footpath to your right, which crosses a field with an electricity pylon in the middle of it. Take this path and emerge onto Deadman's Ash Lane.
Turn left here, then an immediate right at the junction of Sarratt Road and Dimmocks Lane, to return to the walk start point.
